Step-by-Step
  1. With the rest of your class, fill out the "event" side of the marketing worksheet for your earth+ event.
  2. Choose a topic for your Photo Story, and a venue (such as an earth+ event).
  3. Fill out the Marketing Worksheet and Talking Points Worksheet for your photo story. Keep in mind that your Photo Story should include 4 photos about an issue, and 4 photos about its solution.
  4. Create a Story Board for your photo story, and get it approved.
  5. Describe what will be written on the white board for each picture.
  6. List the materials.
  7. Chose time and location possible.
  8. Reread the essay, A Good Picture.
  9. Take the pictures, paying close attention to focus, lighting, composition, color, and background. You should take multiple shots of each photo, varying composition or your position.
  10. Choose the 8 photos you will use. REmember that you need four pictures about the issue, and 4 pictures about the solution. Print them out on earth+ paper.
  11. Evaluate your photo story using the Checklist for an Effective Earth+ Photo Story. Decide whether or not you are satisfied with it; if not then revise the story board and/or re-take the photos.
  12. Once you are satisfied with your Photo Story, select at least 5 members of your target market who are willing to give you feedback on your Photo Story. Have them view the photos and fill out the Earth+ Presentation or Activity Feedback Form.
  13. Summarize the feedback in a written report. Decide whether or not you are satisfied with the effectiveness of your Photo Story; if not then revise as you see fit.
  14. Show the feedback forms, your report, and your Photo Story to your teacher for approval.
  15. Once you are satisfied with the effectiveness of your Photo Story, mount your photos on cardboard and arrange to display them in the venue you have arranged. Next to your display, provide a sheet and clipboard so that viewers can make comments. Ask those who view the photos to fill out the Earth+ Presentation or Activity Feedback Form.
  16. Summarize the results on the Earth+ Photo Story Results form.
