WHY: ... to inform others about earth+ solutions using the web and to connect other youth from across the nation

Step-by-step
  1. Choose an earth+ issue and solution that you wish to inform others about and inspire them to take action.
  2. Fill out the Earth+ Marketing Worksheet.
  3. Fill out the Earth+ Talking Points Worksheet.
  4. Decide what type of blog you will create: Each blog entry about a different topic related to the issue? A diary, with personal reflections about selected topics? Commentary about current news and events? Something else?
  5. Post to your blog at least once a week for 5-6 weeks. Be sure that you have a way to get feedback for those who read it. At least three of your postings should include photographs.
  6. Find ways to tell others about your blog and get them to read it. Us email, texting, any social web sites that are you a member of, and any other means you can think of.
  7. Each week, evaluate your blog using your Checklist for an Effective Earth+ Blog. Improve it if you can.
  8. Ask your blog readers to give you feedback on your blog.
  9. Find some members of your target market and have them read your blog and fill out the Earth+ Presentation or Activity Feedback Form
  10. Upload these documents to the Green Ambassadors web site:
  • Your Earth+ Marketing Worksheet
  • Your Earth+ Talking Points Worksheet
  • Your blog entries and photographs.
  • Your summarize of feedback.
Assessment

Based on the audience feedback to your presentation, fill out the "student" column of the Assessment Rubric for this performance task, and give it to your teacher along with the audience feedback forms and a copy of the summary of audience feedback.

If you participated in an earth+ event, fill out the Earth+ Event Reflection Form, and give it to your teacher.
